About the NHMPA

The New Hampshire Maple Producers Association has been part of our state’s story since 1943, bringing together sugar makers who share a love for tradition, community, and of course, maple syrup.

We’re here to celebrate the craft of turning sap into something extraordinary, and to keep that tradition thriving for generations to come. From Maple Weekend, when sugarhouses across the state welcome friends and families inside, to the annual Carlisle Award that honors the very best syrup of the season, our events are about more than maple—they’re about connection. Each spring, we’re proud to invite the governor to tap the first tree, a yearly reminder that sugaring season is as much a part of New Hampshire as the granite beneath our feet.
