Founded in 2025, Bela Brook Farm is located in Dunbarton, New Hampshire, on the historic grounds of the Lord Farm, a property with a legacy of over 200 years of agricultural stewardship by the Lord family, Elizabeth and Earle Farley, and, most recently, Ray Plante. Spanning 256 acres, the farm encompasses the headwaters of Bela Brook, with the majority of its land preserved as forested and protected areas.
Under the leadership of Ray Plante, Bela Brook Farm has undergone significant renovations and pasture reclamation to establish a sustainable agricultural operation. Specializing in 100% grass-fed beef, the farm raises Scottish Highland and Belted Galloway cattle. In addition to beef, the farm produces pasture-raised poultry, eggs, Maple Syrup and honey, all cultivated using regenerative farming practices.
