Bisson’s Sugar House has been producing maple syrup and making maple products since 1921. Lucien and Muriel Blais are third generation producers. The equipment has been modernized but they have carried on the traditions of the two previous generations. Bisson’s is known throughout the region for their maple taffy (“tire” in French). In season they also make maple butter and candy. The sugar house is open from mid March to mid April. Syrup is sold and ship throughout the year.
